How to fix invalid imei number in Android phones. [MTK][Marshmallow][Naugat]

Easiest method to change imei number

There are many reasons you might want to change your imei number, but the most popular reason why Nigerians change their imei number is to be able to airtel or Glo Bis with an android phone.

Also, after resetting some phones the Imei number will automatically become invalid therefore restricting phone calls and data usage, you can now fix it with this easy steps below.

If your phone is still on Android kitkat or lollipop, you can easily change your imei number with this procedure below:

Dial *#*#3646633#*#* to enter Engineering Mode.

Click MTK Settings (this will be shown if you entered with the code above)



Swipe left, and under the Connectivity tab, choose CDS Information




Now select radio information, if you're changing sim1 choose phone1, phone2 for sim2.




If you're changing the IMEI of SIM 1, enter

AT +EGMR=1,7,"NEW IMEI"

For example

AT +EGMR=1,7,"123456789012345"

Click SEND AT COMMAND

Make sure you put a space between the AT and the +.

Reboot device
You should get the toast notification ' AT Command sent'

If you're changing IMEI for SIM2, you'll select Phone 2 under Radio Information , and then enter the command as

AT +EGMR=1,10,"NEW IMEI"

For example

AT +EGMR=1,10,"123456789012345"

Then you're good to go....

How to change Android Imei number on Marshmallow without root


Imei tweaking almost hit a brick wall after android M was launched, although we were still able to change it with a certain method that requires Root privilege   but now you can now easily and safely change your imei number with this app: MTK ENGINEERING MODE PLUS.

Just follow these simple steps:

#1 Download the app

#2 Run the app, then click on radio information,
Imei number changing
then If you're changing the IMEI of SIM 1, enter

AT +EGMR=1,7,"NEW IMEI"

For example

AT +EGMR=1,7,"123456789012345"

Click SEND AT COMMAND

Make sure you put a space between the AT and the +.

You should get the toast notification ' AT Command sent'

Reboot device afterwards.

If you're changing IMEI for SIM2, you'll select Phone 2 under Radio Information , and then enter the command as

AT +EGMR=1,10,"NEW IMEI"

For example

AT +EGMR=1,10,"123456789012345"

It's the same procedure for Android N.
