I've been using gionee m5 for quite sometime, I have this preconceived idea that gionee m5 is better than infinix zero3 due to some negative feedback I chose to read on infinix Facebook fan page. Now I have both phones, my analysis will be based on my own user experience, sit back and enjoy my analysis, perhaps you might reconsider buying a phone because of its battery capacity. My Analysis of their Key Features

DESIGN

Infinix zero 3 is sleek and weighs 120g, it fits very well in the palm but my issue with this device's design is its bezel. It's screen to body ratio is poor in my opinion. While Gionee m5 is equally sleek and a beauty to behold, it's only downside is its weight which is 211g, though its screen to body ratio is OK.

Display

Infinix zero 3 is equipped with a 5.5 Inch Full HD (400PPI, 1080P) screen, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. This allows you to enjoy high quality picture display which is one feature you'll certainly enjoy, especially if you're upgrading from a HD (720P) device. While Gionee m5 is packed with a 5.5 Inch Amoled HD (267ppi, 720p) with corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection, which is not so bad. Its Amoled screen augments it's HD display quality making it to emit vibrant colors anyone would easily love.

PROCESSOR

Gionee m5 is driven by a 1.3GHz Quad-core 64bit processor and a 2GB/3GB RAM it's fast, but it's not fast enough. It's not a gaming machine because even the popular Subway surf lags, due to its low speed you will have to be patient with it when multitasking. iZERO3 on the other hand, offers an Octa-64-bit 2.1GHz CPU which allows you handle complex apps easily and still maintain smooth operation. Equipped with the best multimedia technology, this device fully supports 120Hz display and Smart Screen. This with its 2GB/3GB RAM allows for a hitch-free gaming experience too. It's downside is that the phone heats up during heavy usage.

CAMERA

iZERO3 comes with a 20.7 mega pixel Sony camera, from my experience, I'll give infinix a thumb up for this. iZERO3 is also equipped with 5MP front-facing camera which features front LED Flash and face beautification. Supplementary light automatically activates to provide an excellent atmosphere. Smart beautification technology operates in real time for jaw-dropping selfies anywhere, anytime. GiONEE M5 is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is good not great, most time I prefer the front-facing camera to the rear camera. The rear camera is very poor in low-light conditions.

ANDROID OS & UI

The new and improved Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system improves the overall stability and performance of the Infinix Zero 3. This operating system also provides your device with a protection and security feature and supports dual sim operations. izero3 comes with a smooth and elegant user interface called XUI, XUI is constantly being updated to suit your specifications and it is very easy to use and modify. IZERO3 is upgradable to Android 6.0 (marshmallow) GiONEE M5 is preloaded with android 5.1 Lollipop OS, upgradable to Android 6.0 marshmallow. It's user interface is complicated for now, it's called AMIGO UI. Amigo Ui is not for everyone.

VERDICT

If you need a sleek, classy, high performance, gaming and camera phone; go for infinix zero 3. But if you are looking for a phone with a premium build quality and great battery backup; GiONEE M5 is the phone for you. Choose wisely.
